J- Lo's amazing comeback!

J- Lo is back! And not only with her new album 'LOVE' which was released yesterday! 

She not only had a massive career in the 90's and for many years after, but now following a short career break, whilst getting married and giving birth to twins, the stunning lady is back on her feet!

With her new release of ' On the floor' which went to no.1 in the UK, J-Lo is taking storm.  She was voted 'The most beautiful woman in the world' by People magazine last week! As well as this she is now a global ambassador for L'Oreal Paris and Gucci, alongside  her two year olds who are starring in their Spring/Summer campaign.

The new album Love was released yesterday after much anticipation from fans.  Due to J-Lo's split with her long term label Sony last February, the release date was moved back, but now we get to listen till our ears our content!


Not a great review coming from the BBC the day before release.  It claimed J-Lo has slipped into a comfort zone of trying to mimic other artists and music doing well over the past couple of years.  The music review says singles on the album, such as Good Hit, sounds like 'Ciara's kittenish sneer' and the single Invading My Mind 'features the same combiation of heavy, dubstep- influenced bassiness and bubblegum-light melody as found on Britney Spears' latest album'.


Still, the album should be a success and the actress/dancer/singer has collaborated with some of the best in the business.  She has The-Dream and Tricky Stewart to twist in an R&B feel, Stargate and the one and only Lady Gaga, who will be featured in two of her new albums singles; Invading My Mind and Hypnotico.


Current release, 'On the Floor' was also produced by RedOne and featured Pitbull, which has given us a good idea of the new albums genre. 

However music is just not enough for J-Los's return to showbiz

She is not only doing the adverts for L'Oreal and Gucci but she is also being a judge on American Idol!

She turned down an offer to work on the new X factor this year as she thought American idol 'fitted her better'. 

Lopez may not do another season after this though.  The comeback queen said to the Daily star newspaper:

“I don't know if I will do another season. I'm taking it day by day at the moment and we'll see what happens. I've been having a great time, I can't lie. I'm really enjoying it and having fun and enjoying working with the contestants” .

Apparently she's been signed $12m to judge on the American Idol show, so it's not all bad ay J-Lo!
